Job overview

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with a strong application development background to take the lead in building, optimizing, and maintaining our Shopify e-commerce platform. If you’re passionate about creating seamless online experiences and love working on projects that go beyond the ordinary, this is the role for you!

As our Shopify expert, you’ll customize themes, build powerful apps, integrate APIs, and optimize performance to deliver exceptional user experiences and boost conversions. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to innovative application development projects outside of Shopify. You'll collaborate closely with our web designer, technical team members, and various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and superior functionality across all devices.

Responsibilities 

• Lead the development, customization, and maintenance of our Shopify Plus store and related apps.
• Build responsive, high-performance themes using HTML, CSS, Liquid, and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate third-party apps and APIs to enhance store functionality.
• Implement CI workflows and ensure robust testing and QA practices.
• Monitor and optimize store performance, SEO, and scalability.
• Ensure adherence to Shopify best practices and platform updates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver end-to-end e-commerce solutions.
• Contribute to other internal software development projects as needed.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with expertise in Shopify Plus, theme and app development.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify’s ecosystem, including APIs (REST & GraphQL), metafields, and scripts.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Liquid, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Alpine.js).
• Experience with CI/CD practices and automated testing workflows.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, SEO, and user experience in e-commerce.
• Bonus: Experience with Laravel or other PHP backend frameworks.
